Guardian Angels UK is a registered charity set up to support, preserve and protect the physical and mental health of children under the age of 18 living in the UK, who have experienced bereavement as a result of the loss of a parent/ guardian, by the provision of support and recreation and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life.

Bucket List Wishes

Bucket List Wishes was established by Gini Blesky after losing her Mum to Cancer just weeks before. She wanted to turn her own personal experience into something positive in Memory of her Mum ‘Jean Evelyn Vaughan’ so she launched this Charity on what would have been her Mum’s 68th Birthday in July 2013.

Friends of Shinfield

All parents or guardians of pupils attending the school automatically become members of this parent-teacher association, which is a registered charity. The Executive is elected at the AGM in the Autumn term. The Friends work extremely hard to support the school in many ways, raising funds and giving us their time. They organise sponsored events, car boot sales, auctions, pupils’ discos and evening entertainment. The annual Christmas Market raises a lot of money. We have also held successful joint events with the PTA from our linked Junior School such as the annual Summer Fair, quiz nights and family discos and barbecues. The money from these is shared between the two schools.
All money raised is used to provide facilities and equipment that would not normally be provided out of the school budget.
